Altronics has launched the new Powerhouse DC to AC power inverter range, ideal for cars, caravans, campers and mobile trades.

It gives electrical professionals instant clean AC power for appliances directly from a vehicle’s battery.

The series comes in a rugged aluminium extrusion which adds reliability and performance, even under severe operating conditions.

As Altronics writes in a statement: “We understand that in the field, inverters will be subjected to all kinds of gross overloads and temperature variations and must survive. To be considered for inclusion in our range these inverters had to pass all of our tests.

“Further, as added peace of mind, all models have been submitted and certified to AS/NZS 4763.2011. Consumers should be aware that there are many other inverters being sold in Australia that are not certified and virtually all would not pass without major upgrades or modifications. Don’t risk it when making a purchase, AC voltages can be lethal – ALWAYS buy an inverter certified to the Australian Standard.”

On top of the range of investors, two new 2500W output models are coming soon, one with a remote LCD screen panel and GPO socket which can be mounted inside a camper or caravan for convenient connection to appliances.
