AINDT has recently announced IPI Learning as the newest approved training body (ATB) for the Level I Certified Infrared Training course (IRT Cat 1). This endorsement gives students the opportunity to obtain the AINDT certification, on top of the many other benefits of completing the course with IPI Learning.

As an approved trainer for both AINDT and Infraspection Institute the IPI Learning Level I Certified Infrared Training course meets both international and local training standards.

This course is presented by practicing thermographers who understand the real world challenges faced in thermography today. With decades of industry experience the presenters offer a wealth of knowledge, and use it at every opportunity to illustrate the practical aspects of the principals they are teaching.

At the conclusion of the week long course students are awarded the Level I certification from the prestigious Infraspection Institute – a recognised world leading thermographer certification body. Infraspection Institute is not affiliated with any manufacturer, and hence, the material is presented without bias or marketing hype.

During the course, students can use a huge range of infrared cameras from every major brand (including Fluke, Flir and Testo), providing an opportunity to compare a fantastic range of equipment.

Their purpose built training centre features a number of simulator rooms, complete with black body simulators (furnaces), a blower door and an array of practical experiments. These facilities simulate the major error sources encountered in the field, and allow operators to exercise their skills without having to leave the centre.

Developed over 20 years of teaching, students receive a 600+ page reference manual, which is one of the industry’s most comprehensive written resources. Additionally, attendees are offered membership to the world’s largest student thermographer association, CITA; including direct access to an online community of experienced thermographers. These resources allow students to continue learning, and to access support long after the course is completed.
