AFL test equipment

AFL has released a full range of test and inspection equipment, available from the beginning of 2018.

This release makes AFL the only company in Australia and New Zealand that can provide end-to-end solutions for fibre optic networks.

“We manufacture the cable in our local facility; we provide the very best splicing equipment; and now we provide the testing equipment – all under one brand,” says AFL product manager Stefano Verardo.

“Nobody else in the region can do that.”

This single-vendor solution creates benefits for the customer, who only deals with fibre optic experts that cover a whole range of needs. AFL has used the technical expertise of Fujikuru splicers to develop the highest quality range of Test & Inspection equipment that is easy to use, cost-effective and feature-packed. Care and maintenance of the test and inspection equipment can also now be done by AFL staff, which results in a faster turnaround and more responsive service.

AFL T &I products are engineered to endure outside plant environments, and feature intuitive user interfaces that provide quick results without the need for training requirements.

Product lines include optical time domain reflectometers (OTDRs), loss testing kits, inspection and cleaning, fibre identifiers, fault locators and more.
