AFC wall mount optical distribution frame

AFC’s wall mount optical distribution frame offers an alternative patching or x-connect option to traditional free standing 19’’ racks.

The ODF is ideally suited to environments such as co-locations or any environment that has limited real estate. This ‘out of row’ patching architecture also allows for greater utilisation of equipment racks.

In standard depth form, the wall mount ODF is perfectly matched to AFC’s low loss MTP cabling system or pre-terminated cable assemblies.

In expanded depth form, the wall mount ODF suits a broader range of installations such as copper patching, splice and patch, including AFC’s spliced MTP x-connect system.

Features and benefits

• Reduces valuable rack bay/row real estate usage
• Passive design can be located in any environment e.g. hot aisle
• Less rack congestion enhances rack cooling efficiencies
• Shallow depth for greater clearance and access
• Bayable construction for ease of expansion
