AEMC extends time to consider generator registrations and connections

The Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC) will extend the time to consider generator registrations and connections by three weeks and publish the final determination for the rule change on 21 October 2021.

This will allow us to consider a new submission from the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO), requesting we clarify AEMO’s powers under the rules relating to the transparency of the registration, classification and exemption processes.
