Accuenergy, distributed by Netonomy Australia, has launched the AcuDC 260 series, a new generation of revenue-grade DC power metres designed to support the growing demands of EV charging, energy storage and high-voltage DC infrastructure worldwide.

As electrification accelerates across transport, industry and energy systems, accurate and compliant DC energy measurement has become increasingly critical. The AcuDC 260 series is designed to deliver high-accuracy measurement, secure data integrity and global regulatory compliance within a single metering platform.

The series includes two models tailored for different regulatory markets. The AcuDC-261 is certified to MID and PTB (Eichrecht) requirements for the European market, enabling legally compliant billing for public DC fast charging. The AcuDC-262 is UL certified and designed for deployment across North America and other international regions where MID compliance is not required.

The AcuDC-261 supports tamper-evident metrology, digitally signed OCMF transaction records and cable loss compensation, ensuring customers are billed only for energy delivered to the vehicle. These features are intended to help charger manufacturers and charge point operators meet regulatory obligations while reducing compliance risk.

For global and UL-regulated markets, the AcuDC-262 delivers the same core DC metering architecture, supporting applications including EV charging, battery energy storage systems (BESS), solar, DC microgrids, data centres, telecom infrastructure and industrial DC power systems.

“As DC infrastructure expands globally, customers need metering solutions that deliver accuracy, transparency and regulatory confidence. The AcuDC 260 series provides a unified, revenue-grade DC metre that supports compliant EV charging in Europe and scalable deployment worldwide,” Accuenergy head of product Vahid Behjat says.

The AcuDC 260 series is engineered for high-voltage, high-current DC environments, supporting direct DC voltage measurement up to 1,000V, dual DC current channels, bi-directional energy measurement and revenue-grade accuracy in line with EN 50470-4 Class C and IEC 62053-41 Class 0.5 standards. Communication options include Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP/IP for integration with charger controllers, energy management systems and cloud platforms.
