Klein Tools has released a full-cycle Ratcheting Crimper designed for heat-shrink wire terminals ranging from 10 to 22 AWG stranded copper. The tool features three colour-coded crimping cavities in red for 22–16 AWG, blue for 16–14 AWG and yellow for 12–10 AWG, allowing technicians to work across multiple terminal sizes with a single tool.

An adjustable compound-action mechanism increases crimping power with less effort, while a built-in ratchet ensures full-cycle compression for uniform, reliable terminations. The crimper’s unique cavity design produces consistent results from either side of the tool and a dial allows users to fine-tune the amount of force applied. Dual-material moulded grips are included to improve comfort during repetitive use.
