It can accurately map up to 50 different palm veins and deliver touch-free unlocking and unlocking with up to 99.99999% accuracy.

“The S3 Max makes hands-free entry easy,” Anker Innovations managing director of ANZ Joey Yan says.

“This palm-vein technology is the first of its kind in Australia and will provide users with safety and security while reducing any hassle.”

The lock is also designed with a camera, doorbell and integrated back screen for flexible and seamless security at all the user’s entryways. It also houses a 15,000mAh rechargeable lithium battery and four AAA batteries. This permits the user to maintain continuous power and surveillance of their entryway while the primary battery recharges.

The dual power system can sustain full-function operation for up to six months and basic function operation for up to 12 months, twice the battery life of regular video smart locks.

The device is compatible with Apple Home as well as the eufy ecosystem and is designed with ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 certification, the highest security and durability level for residential and commercial hardware products. It is WiFi 6 compatible.
