Rockwell Automation has launched its EtherNet/IP In-Cabinet Solution, designed to meet the growing demand for smarter, faster and more connected manufacturing operations.

The solution aims to improve productivity and reduce downtime. Traditional wired control panels tend to limit data access and complicate system upgrades. Rockwell Automation’s latest innovation addresses these challenges by streamlining communications between devices with the panel, ensuring simple integration, boosting real-time data access and helping manufacturers make fast and more informed decisions.

Rockwell Automation product manager Kelly Passineau says its EtherNet/IP In-Cabinet Solution is a game-changer.

“By leveraging single-pair Ethernet/IP technology, we’re able to help customers reduce installation time, enhance operation efficiency and integrate wired components into a more intelligent data-driven network.”

Volga, a Rockwell Systems integrator partner and a leading manufacturer in Brazil, reported that the EtherNet/IP In-Cabinet Solution reduced its assembly downtime by over 65%.

“Beyond significant time savings, this system provides numerous benefits for our panel builders, including space efficiency, customisable panel operator colours, a reduction in SKUs, minimised risk of incorrect connections and more straightforward inspections,” Volga commercial director Carlos Leopoldo says.

“It’s a well-designed solution that enhances efficiency and reliability for both panel builders and end users who can benefit from improved communication, diagnostics and easier maintenance.”
