Fronius unveils the Backup Controller
Fronius has launched its Backup Controller, a switching unit that enables the automatic transition to full backup mode.
In the event of a power failure, the controller automatically switches to power operation and back to parallel grid operation as soon as the grid is available again.

This ensures that the entire household is always supplied with electricity if there is enough power available from the PV system or storage, even when nobody is home
The Fronius Backup Controller can be installed quickly and easily on a top-hat rail in the control cabinet.
This minimises installation time and costs as it doesn’t require an additional switchover box.
