Cabac introduces Solar Cable Clips
Cabac has released Solar Clip Cables to support rooftop and large-scale solar projects.
The clips are constructed from 304 stainless steel, to allow for optimal performance in more harsh outdoor conditions.

304 stainless steel is known for minimising maintenance requirements and extending the lifespan of solar installations.
Cabac recommends the SCC2X4 clip for rooftop solar systems that use 2 x 4mm² cables, and the SCC4X4 clip for large-scale installations which often require 4 x 4mm² or 3 x 6mm² cables to manage higher current and maintain efficiency over long distances.
In 2023, Australia installed roughly 4.6GW of photovoltaic capacity while renewables accounted for 35% of total electricity generation, with solar energy contributing 16%.
These numbers are expected to grow, with projections suggesting that renewable energy could produce over 30% of total electricity in 2024.
Domestic rooftop systems and large-scale solar farms are prime factors for the increase in growth.
Key features of the Cabac Solar Cable Clips include its availability in straight-on (0°) and right-angle (90°) configurations, adjustable and repositionable clips and broad compatibility.
