The electrical inspector roles are mobile, field-based positions located throughout the state. During their work, inspectors deliver the ESO’s statewide compliance and engagement program, respond to complaints and incidents and collaborate with industry to improve management of electrical safety risks.
Inspectors can expect to experience the breadth of the electrical industry, with work encompassing the electrical equipment supply chain as well as other high-risk areas like construction, agriculture and manufacturing. The role also covers non-workplace environments.
The ESO is focused on improving the diversity of its workforce, with women and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people encouraged to apply.
Applications can be made via the Smart Jobs portal.
