Leuze Electronic releases RFID enabled safety interlock switchesLeuze Electronic has released the NG series safety interlock switches for detecting the actuator through RFID technology, which makes installation faster and cost effective.

The NG series offers protection ratings of IP67 and IP69K with a guaranteed locking force of 7500N. The system can hold unlocked doors in position with a force of approximately 30N and can prevent the door from being opened by vibrations or gusts of wind.

These safety interlock switches feature a digitally coded acuator, six LEDs for satus display, metal housing and versions available with lock device, emergency release push button or both.

The NG series safety interlock switches have the choice of two different activation modes of the safety outputs. Mode 1 is active with guard closed and locked for guards with inertia, while Mode 2 is active with guard closed and unlocked for machines without inertia.
