NECA ESV roadshow

The Wiring Rules and other Australian Standards are set to be updated and with it comes information sessions. NECA Victoria and Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) are planning to host over 3,000 electrical and communications contractors and their employees between May and September in a bid to educate those attending about the major changes.

It is estimated that over 300 changes will be put to AS/NZS 3000 as well as 3003 (medical) and 3010 (generators) to be implemented by 1 January 2018. The NECA and ESV Roadshow will educate and instruct those attending on the top 50 changes that must be known. As well as this, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers from industry experts.

The layout of the Roadshow will consist of a tradeshow layout where 25 electrical and communication related companies will be there to meet and great as well as having the opportunity to network.

Once the tradeshow layout concludes, each member of the audience will then be able to break out into their relevant professions and attend sessions that cover combustion engine generators, medical, wiring (cables and conductors), switchboard clearances, main switches and safety services.

All events will conclude at 7pm after food, beverages and prizes are handed out.

You can book tickets online now at www.neca.asn.au/roadshow – tickets are limited so booking online is preferred so that no one misses out.
