On Monday July 20, Manheim will be the place to visit for any tradies looking to buy a commercial vehicle for their business needs. To be held on a recognised industry-wide RDO, over 200 utes, 4WD’s, vans and other commercial vehicles are set to be auctioned.Commencing 8am for a 10am auction start, the public auction will be held at Manheim’s Altona North auction centre, located on Gordon Luck Avenue. Special guest, football personality Danny Frawley will be on hand to assist with the auction which will run until approximately 1pm.

There will also be additional activities on the day, including prize draws, the Triple M Rock Patrol and onsite entertainment from 8:00am, with exhibitors such as DeWalt, Opposite Lock, Harrop and more. One lucky vehicle buyer will win the ultimate ‘Tradie business pack’ from Triple M, worth $15,000 including a tool voucher valued at $5k.

Manheim’s Director of Marketing, Justin Hodgson said, “Every Wednesday we auction over 600 passenger and commercial vehicles as part of our weekly public auction program. Tradies are a very important buying group and purchase a significant number of vehicles at our auctions. To make it even easier for them to buy their next commercial vehicle or 4WD, we wanted to hold a special day to cater exactly for their buying needs.”

“We have put together an offering of over 200 utes, 4WD’s and vans which will be highly sought after by our tradie buyers. With great prizes on offer and entertainment during the day, we think it will be a great way for our tradie customers to kick off the new financial year.”

For interested buyers, all vehicles will be listed in an electronic catalogue on the Manheim website. Potential buyers can review the details of each vehicle online including multiple images prior to the auction. Vehicles can also be viewed onsite at Manheim on the Friday and Saturday before the auction, as well as on the morning of the auction itself.

Manheim’s charity partner, Kids Under Cover will also be on hand collecting donations for their innovative ‘Donate Your Car’ program which raises funds for the prevention of youth homelessness.
