Muralee Kanagaratnam appointed General Manager, Channel & Alliances for Schneider Electric’s IT Business, Pacific
Schneider Electric has announced the appointment of Muralee Kanagaratnam
as the General Manager, Channel & Alliances for its IT Business in the
Pacific.
With more than 16 years’ experience
in the IT channel across Asia Pacific and a proven track record in building
and growing multiple vendor portfolios and businesses, Kanagaratnam is confident he can take on the challenge of the role,

‘In order to stay competitive, channel companies need to innovate and look for ways to differentiate their offerings, gain a competitive advantage and remain profitable,’ Kanagaratnam states. ‘My aim is to drive Schneider Electric’s partner-centric channel strategy to align with this rapidly evolving and increasingly dynamic market.’
His new employers feel equally as confident.

Kanagaratnam greatly looking forward to the position.

meeting the demands and needs of their customers in a rapidly evolving market,’ said Kanagaratnam.
For the next six months, Kanagaratnam aims to review and propel the Schneider Electric IT Business ‘go-to-market’ strategy, ensuring it continues to provide the relevant support and resources its channel and alliances partners need to be successful.
‘Ensuring partner profitability is a top
priority for the Schneider Electric IT Business and we will be launching a new
channel program that is aimed at providing support to our partners and
rewarding them for partnering with us,’ said Kanagaratnam.
‘We are continually innovating our
offering and have invested heavily to ensure we are continuing to provide our
partners with solutions that can complement their offering both within the IT Business
and across our other Schneider Electric solutions.’
Before embarking on this new role for Schneider Electric,
Kanagaratnam led the channel strategy and execution for Adobe across Australia
and New Zealand.
Kanagaratnam holds a Bachelor of
Engineering (Computer Systems) from the University of Technology Sydney and
a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Macquarie Graduate
School of Management.
