Ness Corporation has announced the release of the all-new Ness SmartLiving suite of security control panels, GSM/GPRS communicators and two-way wireless products.

Ness SmartLiving line-up of control panels, all in metal enclosures, have a vast application range spanning from five terminals (10 zones) in the “505” version, to a hundred terminals (200 zones) in the “10100” version all with an extensive suite of powerful features.

SmartLiving introduces the new concept of “terminals” made possible by FlexIO technology. FlexIO allows system expansion allowing terminals to be either inputs or outputs providing a highly adaptable approach to system customisation.

Ness’ new-generation I-BUS is the backbone of the SmartLiving system, carrying data from all SmartLiving keypads, expanders, prox readers, wireless transceivers and sirens. I-BUS connectivity means faster installation and reduced cabling costs with extremely high bus speeds.

I-BUS is designed to manage complex topologies, provide fast load-insensitive response and end-to-end noise immune voice transmissions all with simple network wiring.

Ness SmartLiving can be programmed from any keypad or from a PC running the free SmartLeague graphical software tool.

SmartLeague’s graphical interface gives you a level of control as never before. Copy and paste to add devices, drag and drop devices between expanders, get live system status, view interactive schematics, check bus voltages and even adjust EOL values zone-by-zone.

The SmartLiving ethernet interface provides full internet connectivity for remote access, programming and extensive user control using the free ALIEN iOS and Android app.

SmartLiving is ready to connect and interconnect with a variety of monitoring options available from PSTN to Voice dialling and even SMS via GSM. Monitor back-to-base using dial-up, GSM or GPRS and even perform remote system diagnostics and programming via GPRS, all very simply and very smart.
