Forum Group powerPerfector energy and power optimiser
The powerPerfector solution enables the Forum Group to provide businesses with cost and energy saving technology that simultaneously provides integrated power conditioning and energy security. As the official distributor of the UK’s leading Voltage Power Optimisation product, powerPerfector, in Australia and New Zealand, Forum Group is driving down power costs for businesses all over the country. The powerPerfector VPO units optimise buildings’ energy use by addressing the problem of over-voltage supply on their power networks, providing extensive financial and energy savings.
Previously smaller customers, particularly SMBs, have been priced out of the market for VPO technology due to the upfront capital investment required. Forum Group has restructured its VPO financial model making the solution more accessible for businesses of all sizes looking to address energy savings.

With Forum Group’s flexible financing, customers have no expensive upfront capital outlay. Instead, they make monthly payments which are offset by the savings they make on their energy bills This allows businesses to reallocate thousands of dollars tied up in energy and power costs to other key areas of their business.
“Businesses may overlook monitoring and managing their energy consumption as it can be time consuming and expensive. The solutions can also be costly as well as extremely slow to provide any ROI,” Forum Group sales manager Sam Davey says.
“powerPerfector is a simple solution to these problems, providing an immediate three to ten percent improvement in power factors. On average, the savings from VPOs are calculated at 10 to 20%.”
There are over 500 powerPerfector VPO units installed Australia-wide, averaging thousands of dollars in savings for each of the businesses involved.
“The installation of powerPerfector at Adelaide Town Hall has reduced electricity consumption by 9.3%, an annual saving of over $30,000,” Sam says.
Alternative energy saving solutions such as solar panels can often be expensive and difficult to install given the amount of physical space they occupy and their reliance of available daylight. In contrast, the powerPerfector VPO units are largely install-and-forget solutions, requiring minimal maintenance and physical space, and they work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
“While our VPO units are delivering energy savings they also help minimise wear and tear on electrical equipment by reducing the over-voltage delivered to the system, this equates to less electrical maintenance costs,” Sam says.
