Emerson Network Power has announced the availability of the Liebert ITA UPS in Australia, New Zealand and the rest of Asia.

A full-featured, scalable rack-based power protection system designed to provide long backup time, the Liebert ITA offers significant costs savings for organisations with small computer rooms and network equipment.

Using true on-line voltage and frequency (VFI) uninterruptible power supply (UPS) technology, the Liebert ITA series provides high efficiency and reliability with a 0.9/0.8 output power factor that can power between 10 and 30% more load than other UPS. In addition, the Liebert ITA series offers flexibility with parallelable configuration and extended backup time, with external battery cabinets, and is compatible with single phase and 3-phase input power.

The Liebert ITA series features best-in-class efficiency, supporting parallel operation of up to 4 units. Backup time can be prolonged through cascaded connection or use of large-capacity battery banks, while featuring outstanding energy-saving performance of 92 to 94% efficiency. The series includes an input power factor of up to 0.99 while an extra-wide input voltage/frequency range effectively reduces the discharging period of the battery, resulting in prolonged battery life.

The Liebert ITA series is highly reliable, using state-of-the-art technology and components to withstand fluctuations of input mains voltage. It features Digital Signal Processor full-digital control with high-output voltage precision and provides the latest USB monitoring or remote management with an optional WEB/SNMP card.

The Liebert ITA series models include 5kVA, 6KVA, 10kVA, 16kVA and 20kVA, with each unit having a compact footprint. This makes the Liebert ITA suitable for use in small to medium computer and communications rooms.
