“With over 3.3 million microinverters in the field internationally, I’m excited to tell customers the wait is over and Enphase is now in Australia. Continued innovation has been paramount for Enphase, and these advancements are passed onto our Australian customers through maximised energy harvest of solar panels, intelligent monitoring and performance in Australia’s hot and rugged climactic conditions.”
Jeff was recently appointed secretary of the Melbourne Chapter of the Solar Council of Australia and is a Clean Energy Council of Australia founding member. Previously he was Sun Empire Solar Systems managing director where he led the company from start-up, through its growth phase and onto profitability. His higher education includes certificates in Renewable Energy and Electrical Mechanics from the Swinburne University of Technology and Victoria University respectively.
The Enphase Microinverter System offers a new approach to installation, operations and maintenance of solar energy systems, making solar simple, safe and energy smart. By converting direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC) at the panel level, microinverters create independent power producers out of every single panel in a solar array. This dramatically simplifies solar system design and installation while also eliminating high voltage DC.
