Clipsal and Schneider Electric partner business supports Pacific strategy for growth
The new Partner business will be led by David Gardner, and the two brands will work under one strategy to support Schneider Electric’s drive for growth, efficiency, innovation and increase value for customers in the Pacific.
Schneider Electric’s Pacific managing director Stephen Coop says, “There are many common channels between the two brands. It is our full intention to continue to build on the Clipsal and Schneider Electric brands, while supporting their common channel and providing a dedicated focus for our transactional and solution business.

“This change will prepare us for a future which sees globalisation, commoditisation and digitisation of our markets by bringing together two passionate and dedicated teams and two strong brands. We believe that the benefits of managing these two brands together under one unique strategy are far greater than continuing to manage them separately in an ever increasingly changing environment.”
Clipsal and Schneider Electric Partner business vice president David Gardner says, “The one thing that will not be compromised in the new Partner business is our brands. Clipsal is an iconic Australian brand, and this union will help to continue to strengthen its offer in this market.
“A recent example where we have been able to exercise how the two brands perfectly complement each other is the launch of the EcoXpert program, which offers medium sized electrical contractors access to a global training and certification program. By combining our offers and expertise our EcoXpert partners will have access to comprehensive training and solutions to help them grow their business,” David says.
