Glenn McGrath to be keynote speaker at NECA conference
Glenn, who is Chairman of the McGrath Foundation, has agreed to attend the entire conference including a Golf Day that he will be hosting and all of the other conference events and activities that have been planned.
NECA NSW executive director Oliver Judd says, “Many of our members are cricketing fans as well as keen golfers so what better way to improve a conference in a beautiful holiday destination like Langkawi than to rub shoulders and hit a few balls around a golf course with cricketing royalty!

“We’re delighted that Glenn has agreed to attend and take part in the conference. His presence will make the difference between a good conference and a really great conference.”
A call for sponsors will soon be launched inviting electrical industry suppliers to have first crack at underwriting Glenn as their golf partner or join their table for the Gala Dinner. Other sponsor opportunities are planned with portions of funds donated to the McGrath Foundation’s work on breast cancer awareness and assistance.
“NECA is also lining up other impressive personalities to attend the conference, with exciting activities and speakers being planned for our delegate partners. Further details will be outlined as and when they are confirmed,” Oliver says.
The conference is scheduled for 15 to 20 April 2013 with a two-day conference agenda within a specially priced holiday package available to family and partners. It is supported by the NSW, ACT, Victorian, South Australian and Tasmanian chapters of NECA.
All electrical contractors, accredited service providers, data and communications cablers and security installation contractors are welcome to attend regardless of whether they are members of the Association.
“What better place for industry participants to learn how to operate more successful businesses, find out about their industry association and the benefits of being a member of NECA than a relaxed visit to the tropical setting of Langkawi Island,” Oliver says.
