Psiber Data has announced the availability of patch cord testing solution for its signature product, WireXpert WX-4500FA. With the addition of this product, users of WireXpert WX-4500FA cable certifier will be able to certify the patch cords for TIA and ISO standards ranging from Cat 5e to Cat 6A for both shielded and unshielded cabling.

WireXpert’s 11 seconds 6A Patch Cord test is faster by factor of 5 compared to existing alternatives in the market.

WireXpert patch cord solution tests both ends of the patch cords simultaneously. This is possible due to the highly accurate measurement hardware and signal processing systems within the WireXpert providing excellent radio frequency characteristics as a measurement device.

Testing both ends of a patch cord simultaneously not only contributes to the speed of testing but also doubles the life-cycle of each replaceable jack.
