Australian IT components and cabling business, 4Cabling, has launched a mobile ordering service for those on the go.

4Cabling’s Text To Order Service aims to make purchasing even easier – which will be music to the ears of many tradies who are usually on the run and may not have access to the internet onsite.

Text To Order is very simple to use:

Customers text their name, business name and order to 0419 875 961 (free text)
4Cabling customer service will call back to confirm the order and arrange delivery
The order is dispatched

4Cabling Group managing director Nicole Kersh, says that while of her customers are comfortable purchasing online, others are not as tech savvy. The mobile ordering service was created to fill an existing gap in the fast-paced trade industry.

“We enabled customers to place orders online 24/7. We’re now taking another step, letting them do so straight from their mobile phones,” Nicole says.

“Text to order is particularly helpful for customers who are onsite and need the order quickly. It’s also designed for those who know what they want and don’t want to spend the time browsing for it online.

“4Cabling was created with the customer in mind. As the first direct to consumer designer, manufacturer, distributor and retailer in Australia’s cabling industry, we’re able to spend more time directly conversing with and understanding our customers. We’re always listening to the feedback that they have.”
