AFL’s new super slim patchcords

Real estate within a data centres is becoming increasingly precious so a reduction in diameter patchcords are an important step to ensure end users are getting the most out of their server rooms.

AFL has announced the release of both Category 6 and Category 6A reduced diameter patchcords.

ADVERTISEMENT

The Category 6 U-UTP patchcords use a cable diameter of only 3.6mm and the Category 6A U-FTP patchcords 5.3mm.

Both cords are channel compliant to international standards and are ideal for use in high density cross-connect solutions in computer rooms, storage area networks and data centres.
