Are you Australia’s fastest cabler?
BICSI is on the search for Australia’s fastest cablers to compete in the 2016 cabling skills challenge regional qualifiers.
Qualifier will win the right to represent their region at the BICSI South Pacific CSC final and the winner of the final will move on to the BICSI Cabling Skills Challenge 2017 at the Winter Conference in the United States.

Each regional qualifier will receive a trophy and a personal specialist tool kit and the final winner receives an all expenses trip to the US. All regional qualifying winners receive complimentary entry to the entire BICSI South Pacific conference in Sydney while competing in the final.
The judges will be looking for professionalism, quality of workmanship and speed, so you need to be a skilled cabler. Naturally, cabling ‘cowboys’ are not welcome.
The local qualifying heats will consist of two copper-based challenges. The first; 50-pair tie-cable from 110-style termination to a 24-port patch panel. The second; install and terminate one dual Class Ea telecommunications outlet from a patch panel to flush-mount faceplate.
Competitions are being held all around Australia and you must pre-register with BICSI to compete.
